The Stained Glass Window
The window in the centre light in the chancel depicts a scene from the Christian Classic “Pilgrims Progress” by John Bunyan. (see photo below)
Pilgrim, (left) is shown fleeing from the City of Destruction (below) when he meets Evangelist (right) who points him to the Wicket Gate, through which Pilgrim Enters, thus beginning his journey to the Celestial City (above).
The Window was designed and executed by Gordon Webster
The commemorative plaque below the window reads:
