The General Assembly of 2017 called upon all members of the Church of Scotland to  set aside a Day of Prayer to pray for the denomination.
The date set was 25th November.
We shall meet from 9:30 until 12:00  and I urge all members of the congregation in answer to such a plea not to ignore or leave to others the duty set upon us but to be in attendance at the meeting and pray for the church.
The future of the Church is guaranteed by the New Covenant and there is always hope for the future because Jesus is building his Church.
Let us pray and see how the Lord answers us. Remember how he answered our nation's cry in prayer for the evacuation of Dunkirk and the future of our nation then?
Let us pray and wait expectantly.

War Time Memories By Robert Dey

Robert Dey has now reached a remarkable milestone and is now 100 years old!  Mr Dey has been a member of Trinity Possil & Henry Drummond for 60 years and attends Sunday Morning Services.  The document tells of the power of his love for the woman who was to become his wife and kept him going through life on the run during World War II.
