Friendship Club
The Friendship Club was started in 1950 in the former Henry Drummond Church in Possilpark and will be celebrating its 60th Anniversary in 2010. They meet every second Monday from October through to March. A variety of activities are enjoyed by all those who attend and slide & video shows, crime prevention, theatre outings and the annual bus run at the end of May are just an example.
Why not come along and give it a try? The Friendship Club is open to all adults from the community, there is a Membership fee of £2.00, fees for the party nights are £1.50 and other nights £1.00, tea, coffee and sticky buns are served mid-way through each evening.
